Threads Of Change is a ‘by Foster Families for Foster Families’ organization. We believe in ‘Being The Change’ because we have lived in the trenches of the Foster Care system. We know what the needs are because they are needs our families once had.

Angelic Horne | Founder and Executive Director
My husband and I had six children in our blended family. We started fostering in 2015 with the intention of accepting pl
acements of teenagers.
In 2016 we got a call for two toddler girls, who were soon joined by their new born sister. We adopted the three girls in 2017. This year we welcomed our tenth child home, a nine year old who we are planning to adopt in early 2019. Our family loves the outdoors and spending time at our Beach House. Family is the most important thing to us. In my professional life I am a Nurse and Licensed Massage Therapist.
Jessica Nonnemacher | Inventory Manager
I am a Foster, Adoptive and Biological Mom. 
My husband and I have been fostering since 2011 and have had the privilege of caring for over 35 children in our home. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist by trade and specialize in play and attachment therapy which means I get the chance to work with many foster and adoptive families professionally. My family loves playing games together and spending time at our summer cottage. We became involved in Threads in 2017 and have loved having a front seat in the amazing work this organization is doing.
Virginia Danner | Inventory Manager
We started our foster journey in early 2017, with the hopes of eventually adopting. We have no biological children so it was a huge life change for us. Our first placement was a 12 day old little boy. Little did we know we would end up adopting our very first placement in August of 2018. I have found a love of helping foster children in whatever way I can. I am proud to be a part of the
Threads of Change family! When I am not volunteering I like to travel, be outdoors and be with family. Professionally I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist with my specialty in neonatal/pediatrics.

I am 2018 graduate from Reading Area Community College with a trio-degree in Computer Information Systems.AA, IT Website Development.AAS, and Anthropology Social Science.AA degrees. I am presently pursuing my Bachelors of Science degree through Albright College in Information Systems and Management while also working for the PA House of Representatives, Democratic Informations Technology a Technology Trainer.
